Do you offer try ons?

Want to check out our pieces in person? We’ve got you covered. Try-ons are available at my home in Varsity Lakes so you can make sure everything fits just right before you rent.

  • Need more time? Book first, then email us at hello@hirehaven.com.au to extend your appointment or grab two back-to-back slots.

A Few Things to Know:

  • Bringing someone along? Just give us a heads-up so we can plan for space.
  • You’re welcome to try on anything available during your appointment.
  • Booking an appointment doesn’t reserve an item—if you want to put something on hold, reach out to us directly.
  • No available times that work for you? Check back later or message us—we might have cancellations.

Item Availability:
Since some items are out on hire, we may not have everything here at all times. We’ll check in with you the week of your appointment to see if there’s anything specific you want to try and do our best to have it ready. If it’s not available, we’ll work with you to find another time.

What If my order comes damaged?

Quality is our first priority! If you believe your outfit has arrived damaged or defective please contact us immediately (within 4 hours of receiving the outfit) with clear images of the garment.

How do I return my outfit?

For Postal Returns:

  • Your order will arrive with a prepaid Australia Post Express return satchel—just pop the outfit in and drop it off over the counter at an Australia Post store or depot by 3:00 PM on your return date.
  • Lost the prepaid satchel? No worries! You'll need to purchase an Australia Post Express Post satchel yourself. Once you've sent it, email us the tracking number.
  • If you can’t make it to an Australia Post store or depot, you can use a yellow Australia Post Express postbox before the last collection time that day. This is at your own risk—if the parcel is lost and never scanned, you’ll be responsible for a replacement.

For Local Returns:

All local hires must be dropped off at the collection address by 7:00 PM on your return date.xt

Do you ship internationally?

No, unfortunately we do not offer international services.

What if I return my order late?

We totally get that plans change—but please keep us in the loop! A late return can affect someone else’s booking, so we appreciate the heads-up.

We do our best to accommodate changes, but a late fee applies if an item isn’t returned on time.

How Late Fees Work:

  • The daily late fee is calculated as your rental price divided by the number of days you booked it for (up to 120% of the item's original RRP).
  • For example, if you booked a 4-day hire at $100, the late fee would be $25 per day past the return date.
